”Of Dreaming and Presence“ The Dreamweed is not a real plant, but a symbol—representing a state that resists definition, hovering between memory and perception. This exhibition brings together two artists, Li Ying-Wei and Liang Yu-Ning, whose paintings explore different dimensions of time, seeing, and presence. Li Ying-Wei paints with a sense of lightness and transparency, capturing the subtle interplay of light and air in nature. His works do not seek to reproduce specific scenes, but instead allow the act of seeing to become a meditative, internal experience—like traces of memory gently surfacing. Liang Yu-Ning, on the other hand, constructs dynamic visual fields through the fragmentation and recomposition of imagery. Color and form drift across the canvas, evoking the shifting intersections of memory and perception. Through his practice, we are prompted to reconsider the relationship between image and language. ”Of Dreaming and Presence“ offers no single narrative or answer. It is an open journey of perception—inviting you to slow your gaze and rediscover the connection between the body and the image.
