Ryosuke Misawa b. 1992

Ryosuke Misawa (b. 1992, Fukui, Japan) is a Tokyo-based contemporary artist whose practice explores the universal beauty embedded within the world through light, perception, and minimal visual structures. Working primarily with acrylic on canvas, his practice extends from studio-based painting to large-scale public art and site-specific commissions.

His work has been exhibited internationally in Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Greece, France, and the United States, including presentations at VOLTA Basel, Art Central Hong Kong, Kiaf Seoul, Art Taipei, and Art Busan. His public and institutional projects include commissions and installations for JR East, Mitsui Knowledge Industry, Shibuya Station, and Tokyu Plaza Ginza.
